We liked staff and location, exceptionally comfortable beds and the hotel itself was fairly clean. We ate at an excellent restaurant for breakfast.

The venue was a bit dated, however I enjoyed its perfect staff and location. The restaurant was just a short stroll away from the hotel.

Every detail was ideal there, including staff and location. It was a terrific hotel in a calm area, adjacent to the river and the city centre and restaurants. Plenty of food options near to the venue.

we appreciated rooms and food, nothing to complain about. breakfast was lovely - a good choice of dishes. 300 metres to york city walls. close to york minster, 10 minutes' walk to york train station.
